Lion’s Den Crochet exists as an outlet for the designer and crocheter, Bartholomew Lyons to sell his one of a kind crochet creations to interested parties and loving homes. Inspired by medieval, elizabethan, baroque, and byzantine life and aesthetics, Bartholomew pulls from that era for inspiration around color, naming, shape, etc.

The purpose of this site is to create a space for those interested in purchasing something they may have seen, and expanding my reach to people in different parts of the world. That said, for ease of operations, decisions were made:

The Artisan

Philly born, DC-based, Bartholomew Lyons has been crocheting for over 25 years. Recently, on his crochet journey, Bartholomew enjoys the challenge of bringing new life into yarns of varying fibers old and new, and incorporating uncommon stitches and fresh styling in his unique creations.

Bartholomew is also creating larger and smaller wearables for all seasons. Find him in-person for an expanded experience.
